You’re Invited to join the Final REBECCA Workshop at the EHMA Conference 2025!

April 29, 2025

📍 Thursday, 5 June 2025 | 15:15 – 16:30 | Rennes, France

As the REBECCA Project (REsearch on BrEast Cancer induced chronic conditions supported by Causal Analysis of multi-source data), funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme, reaches its final phase, we’re excited to invite you to a dynamic and interactive workshop at the EHMA Conference 2025 in Rennes.

What’s it about?

Over the last four years, REBECCA has developed an innovative, AI-powered patient monitoring system that combines clinical data with real-world data (RWD) collected from wearables, smartphones, and electronic health records. The goal is to enhance post-treatment care for breast cancer patients and survivors by improving clinical decision-making and patient quality of life.

This final workshop “REBECCA Insights: Bridging Real-World Data and Patient Care” will highlight the project’s key findings, explore future challenges, and co-develop strategies to bring RWD-based digital tools into everyday healthcare.

What to expect?

This session isn’t just about listening—it’s about collaborating, testing, and shaping the future of digital health. Here’s how the workshop will unfold:

Introduction & Presentations (15 min)

  • Overview of the REBECCA project and key clinical insights
  • Live demo of the REBECCA 360 platform, the AI-powered monitoring tool
  • Best practices on integrating RWD into clinical workflows

Interactive World Café Discussions (35 min)

Participants will rotate across stakeholder-specific discussion tables. Each table will focus on a different theme and group:

  • Decision-makers & policymakers: Embedding RWD into national health policies
  • Regulators & health authorities: Tackling legal and data protection challenges
  • Health professionals & health managers: Integrating REBECCA into workflows and evaluating cost
  • Researchers & tech innovators: Opportunities for innovation and scaling digital solutions
  • Patient organisations: Ensuring a patient-centred approach

Sticky notes, facilitation guides, and a collaborative setup will make this a lively, hands-on experience. After the rotations, each group will share their key takeaways.

Wrap-Up & Conclusions (25 min)

Each group will present highlights from their discussions. The REBECCA team will close with final reflections and a look ahead at sustainability, integration, and long-term adoption strategies.

Why attend?

  • Learn how real-world data is revolutionising breast cancer care;
  • Explore the REBECCA 360 platform firsthand;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from across Europe;
  • Help shape the roadmap for future use of digital health tools.

We look forward to welcoming you to this forward-thinking and collaborative session in Rennes!
